Who we are
This website is run by Housology Records, San Francisco, CA. For anything about this policy or your data, email housologyrecords@gmail.com.
Our own cookies
We set no cookies of our own, run no analytics and show no ads. The only thing this site stores on your device is your cookie choice, kept in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every visit.
Cookies from the SoundCloud player
Tracks on this site play through SoundCloud's embedded player. SoundCloud, and services it works with, can set cookies and collect data when the player loads. We only load the player after you accept cookies. If you decline, nothing from SoundCloud's player loads here and each track opens on SoundCloud's own site instead, where SoundCloud's own settings apply.
SoundCloud explains what it collects in its cookie policy and privacy policy.
| What | Set by | Why | When | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
housology-consent (local storage) | This site | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies | When you choose | Until you clear your browser data |
| SoundCloud player cookies | SoundCloud and its partners | Playback, preferences and SoundCloud's own measurement | Only after you accept | As set out in SoundCloud's cookie policy |
Other services this site contacts
Release artwork loads from SoundCloud's image servers and the artist photo loads from Spotify's image servers. These requests set no cookies on this site, but like any web request they show your IP address to the server that answers. The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to run and protect the service.
Change your choice
Checking your current choice.
Declining stops the player loading on this site from then on. Cookies SoundCloud already set belong to SoundCloud's domain, so remove them in your browser settings if you want them gone.
